Activities of Kukkiwon Dispatched Masters
In October 2014, Kimsabu was officially selected as a government-dispatched Taekwondo master through a formal agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and Kukkiwon.
After completing the mandatory pre-deployment training, he was dispatched to Tajikistan in December of the same year.
Focusing on dojang-based instruction, he devoted himself to training students in major cities such as Dushanbe (the capital), Khujand, Qurghonteppa, Gulab, and Khorugh.
He actively contributed to the spread and development of Taekwondo by visiting local Taekwondo clubs, conducting seminars, and providing technical guidance—helping to strengthen regional cooperation and elevate skill levels.
As the national Poomsae head coach under the TTF (Tajikistan Taekwondo Federation), he played a key role in establishing and promoting technical excellence through education, seminars, and national competitions.
He also led demonstration teams composed of students, promoting the cultural value of Taekwondo to the wider public.
As a certified Kukkiwon examiner, he directly oversaw local Poom and Dan promotion tests, supporting the advancement of promising instructors and helping to build a well-structured system of Taekwondo education and leadership development.
Furthermore, through Kukkiwon’s Global Taekwondo ODA (Official Development Assistance) Program, he supported local leaders' access to professional training—laying the groundwork for sustainable growth of Taekwondo in the region.
