Introduction to Kimsabu

Kimsabu Taekwondo: A 30-Year Journey of Raising People

From the first step in Tajikistan in 1995 to becoming the heartbeat of Uganda today, Kwangjoo Kim’s Taekwondo has been more than a martial art — it has been a mission to awaken character and spirit.

As a Kukkiwon government-dispatched Master, he has trained thousands of students across Tajikistan, Russia, and Uganda. This journey has been built upon three core values: Truth, Covenant, and Discipline.

Beyond technique, it is a path of training that transforms lives.
Here, we present the true legacy of Kimsabu Taekwondo.

Speaking Through Poomsae

“A Life That Leads Me”

Since his first competition in 2013, Grandmaster Kim continues to step onto the mat as an active athlete well into his 50s.

For him, tournaments are not merely about winning or losing, but a stage for self-discipline and a way to teach his students through action and example.

Official Kukkiwon Dispatch Master

Appointed by Kukkiwon and the government of the Republic of Korea, Grandmaster Kim has dedicated himself to promoting and teaching Taekwondo in countries such as Tajikistan and Uganda.

This is a record of his mission as a government-dispatched master, serving through cultural exchange and character education at presidential schools, military police training centers, and universities.

Poomsae Officiating Record

Since being selected as a poomsae judge by the Korea University Taekwondo Federation in 2013, Grandmaster Kim has served as an international poomsae referee at major tournaments both in Korea and abroad.

His judging goes beyond technical evaluation — it is grounded in the spirit of Taekwondo, guided by fairness and a deep sense of duty.
